FIRST! Originally this pose/style is from here. The pose and characters reminded me of my own characters and my brain kept nagging me till I made it. I made this as a tattoo design for myself, so I’m making no profit off of it, and it won’t be in any of my books. It was for fun. Out of respect for the original artist, Natasha Allegri, I emailed her and asked permission before posting it here… she said yes, so here it is! I hope she likes it.

I don’t usually do this, but I wanted to keep the original style/build. So this isn’t 100% drawn by me. I traced/referenced areas to keep those in tact (the human needed it most. I suck at holding poses and ribbons, to be honest lol) and free-handed the rest.

The characters are new, Clair and Jen. They’re characters from a project I’m currently working on… Jen (the alien) is very fun to draw. I did this traditionally, colored with markers. The color is a lot brighter in person. The scanner whited out a lot of the lighter/brighter colors.
